Description
This sculpture began with a golden form—elegant, still, whole. Then came the red: poured, streaked, undeniable. Stained Intentions examines the impulse to deface, to make a point through destruction, and the irreversible consequences that follow. The figure remains upright, but its purity has been marked—forever altered in a way that invites the viewer to consider whether the damage was justified or simply collateral. Using found objects, clay, and layered paint, I aim to create emotional resonance and provoke quiet questions: What is gained in undoing? And who carries the cost?
