Description
This piece came from that familiar push and pull I feel so often—between wanting to feel joy and worrying about how I’m being seen. Judgment vs. Joy reflects the internal swirl of emotions that can color an entire day. One side is playful, full of color and life; the other side is darker and more complicated—like self-doubt creeping in when I least expect it.
The watching eyes, the movement, and the chaos are all pieces of that mental conversation. I created this to explore how quickly we can shift between celebration and self-criticism. This piece is about learning to hold space for both, and maybe choosing joy a little more often.
