As the artist, I’d like to share the intent behind this piece. It’s Okay is a deeply personal exploration of vulnerability and quiet acceptance. The exaggerated facial features, the slouched expression, and the soft yet muted tones represent the universal moments of feeling overwhelmed and uncertain, yet still holding on.
This sculpture captures a human expression that resonates with the small assurances we tell ourselves or others during challenging times. The tilt of the head and the subtle asymmetry reflect the emotional weight we carry—sometimes awkward, sometimes imperfect, but undeniably real.
