Description

This piece reflects the intimate yet complex bond between a mother and daughter, as I see it. The “S”-shaped connection of their lips represents the flow of secrets—those shared in love and trust and those that, in hindsight, might have been better left unspoken. I wanted to capture the duality of their relationship, mirrored in their faces, where joy and pain coexist. The vibrant colors in their adornments contrast with the depth of emotion in their expressions, emphasizing the weight secrets can carry. For me, this piece reflects the delicate balance of what we choose to share and what we choose to keep to ourselves.
