Description
This piece was created for my daughter, who lives with a rare and serious heart condition known as Brugada Syndrome. The surface is layered with agitation and restraint—scratched lines, ghosted forms, and sudden color breaks that mirror the unpredictability of a heartbeat that doesn’t follow the rules.
The form at the center can be seen as a body, a heart, or a waveform—whatever the viewer brings to it. It holds the weight of fear, yet also the weight of survival. Brugada isn’t a portrait. It’s a pulse.
