Description

“VOID” resonates deeply with the themes of loneliness, longing, and the emotional toll of losing something that was once deeply cherished. When I created this piece, I aimed to capture that feeling of emptiness, that hollow space left behind when something meaningful is taken away. The sculpture mirrors the internal void many of us experience in times of grief or profound change. It’s not just about the absence itself but the weight that absence carries—the way it seems to linger and expand, making everything else feel distant or diminished. This piece is a reflection of our shared human experience, a testament to the fact that we all, at some point, have felt the void.

This piece is about giving form to emotions that are often difficult to articulate. It’s as if the sculpture speaks the language of silence and loss, bringing those intangible feelings to the surface. The intentional design of hollow areas and rough textures conveys a sense of incompleteness, as if something vital has been stripped away. I wanted “VOID” to evoke the experience of loss and invite others to confront and connect with their own feelings of emptiness, creating a space for reflection and perhaps even healing.
